Hello everyone. My name is Irene and I write from Spain. Now I have 29 years and for almost a year and a half I was diagnosed with AMV in the spinal cord. One night I was sleeping and I had a sore back. He quickly went to the emergency room where I turned the pain and I lost strength in the legs and abdomen (the malformation had bled). After me and a resonance angiography an AMV I found in the spinal cord (at the height of the D3). The malformation is inoperable so I was given a drug treatment. A few days later he could walk again. It's been almost a year and a half since then and do a normal life. I can walk, run, jump. The only thing I have left is that sometimes I have a burning sensation in the back, but hey, what's going to cost more to overcome is the fear that I happen again, although in the last resonance that made me spinal was okay, was not bloated, no bleeding and had regained normal function.
I hope this story will encourage and although it is true that not all cases are equal, there is hope in all this.
PD. I hope that you shall have been able to understand regardless of language
