Hi--mainly I'm looking for anyone who knows any info on children and AVM's. My child has been going to well-baby apts since she was born and her head circumference has always been in the 90-95 percentile. Now at her 18 mo check up the doctor, said she is off the charts--measuring 19.5. She said to bring her in once a month to get her head measured, and she would know by next month probably if we need to do a scan. She said she it could possibliy be AVM.

I have a friend whose daughter who is 4.5 and has a spinal AVM. She goes next month to get an angiogram(sp). Anyway...does anyone have any info on their child or know of somewhere to look at stories of other parents who are going through this.

We have not had a scan yet, but it's looking like the doc will order one up.
