Default Same Symptoms

Wow, am I glad I found this site. I am a retired military member and have had tons of back problems fro years and was injured severaltimes while a Military Policeman. I never thought too much of it all until I started having pain in my arms and numbness in my arms afte rtryign to ride an exercise bike to rehab after a heart attack. There was a mass that appeared on my left shoulder and neck area and finally I had an MRI and it showed narrowing of the neck vertabrae and this jumbled mass of veins on my spine (the radiologist's sumamry). A second MRI was done and an AVM was diagnosed at the thorasic area. I have been waiting for sevral weeks to see a doctor to try and understand this, today i saw a Neurologist and he warned me about the dangers of any treatment and I asked well what about a hemorage? I am on blood thinner for my heart. He wasn't very forthcoming in answering me. He said well you don't present any symptoms. I now highly disagree after reading your stories. In the story posted by Andrew I have several of those same symptoms and have for years always thinking it was something else. I will be seeing a different doctor outside the care system I went to as I haev lost faith in them and don't believe they asked enough of the right questions. Thansk to you all and God Bless You.
