Default I need help

I don't know where to begin so I guess I will start off with my story. I have a cerebral AVM in my brain that is inoperable. I have had back pain over the past 20 years but the past year it has been getting much worse so my family doctor sent me to have an MRI and he said I have a Hemangioma. My doctor doesn't know much about Hemangioma's and I was just wondering if anyone here would know if he would know the difference between a hemangioma or an AVM on an MRI? My mother also had an cerebral AVM which she passed away from in 2004. I did have genetic testing done to see if I have HHT and they still don't know if I do have it or not. That is why I am worried this maybe an AVM and not a hemangioma. Any info would be great.
Thank you, Brenda
