Thumbs up Thank you

Hi Steve (and everyone else here)

Thank you for starting and running this community.

I grew up with a mother who was paralyses by a spinal AVM when I was only 2 years old. Being such a rare condition, especially somewhere like NZ, it was very isolating for all of us.

She's in hospital again, 30 years after her initial surgery, and they're having another go at it as it found a 'work around.'

As sad as it is that there are so many people out there affected by this condition, it's very reassuring to finally find a community we can particpate in who understand what we have been through, and still have to go through.
